About Anthony Lewis
Anthony Lewis is a self-taught artist born in raised in Camden, NJ. Anthony began drawing while attending high school, but put it on hold to pursue a life in the Army and eventually joining the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Anthony continues to enjoy capturing his daughters through his art as well as other aspects from his life experiences. His style concentration varies which includes urban abstract with a flare of realism that engages your visual senses using mediums as; Acrylic, Oil, Charcoal, and Mixed Media.
Some of his influences are but not limited to; Frank Morrison, Ernie Barnes, C’ Babi Bayoc, Charles White and Eric Frances.
He is married to his wonderful and understanding wife, Desire, and they are parents to three beautiful daughters ages 10, 7, and 3.
